ANTONIO RUBIO - ACTOR

Antonio Rubio, Dominican Actor and Theater Producer; graduate of the Raul Julia Training Unit, PRTT. 

He was a member of The Master Class Group created by his Mentor Great Actress and director Alba Oms.

Was nominated for Best Actor for the ACE Awards for his role in "Apartment For Two", was also nominated at the International Theatre Festival, conducted by Commissioner of Culture of the Dominican Republic. 

Television and Film: Currently working on "The Blue Jungle" series, which interprets a Detective. Also the film "La Celestina" directed by the prominent Actor Fermin Suarez, the Movie "Once Upon a Time in Brooklyn", and has also participated in the television series "Mortales", for which he was nominated, "Best Actor".  

Has work with theater directors such as: Alba Oms, Acosta León, Juan Calos Manon, Jose Bonilla, Luis Felipe Rodriguez, Leyma Lopez.

Winner of the HOLA award for his participation in the play "El Loco Por Fuerza" produced by Repertorio Español.
